RugbyRadio is one of the most popular rugby programmes on radio in South Africa with hosts Hennie Koortzen, well known television rugby commentator at SuperSport on MNet and Wynie Strydom, team manager of the Bulls and the Blue Bulls.

The programme focuses on national and international rugby issues with in depth discussions regarding matters of interest with the “who’s who” of rugby across the world. Top rugby players and administrators are regular studio guests while telephonic interviews with well known rugby names keep listeners up to date with the latest developments in the rugby world.

RugbyRadio concentrates on all the different competitions in South Africa as well as the Super 14, Six Nations and all the international games worldwide. Schools, club and women rugby also features as a very important segment of the programme.

Interaction with the listener is very important and rugby supporters can ask their questions and air their views during the programme by phoning the studio or sending an sms to our studio guests, or via e-mail to Hennie Koortzen. Prizes are up for grabs every week for listeners who participate during the programme.

We also take RugbyRadio to the people with live broadcasts from schools, clubs and other organizations that organize their own event to go along with the broadcast.
