For as long as I can remember my biggest dream was to win an Oscar in Hollywood. I would take the acting world by storm and show the world what I’ve got.

Instead, God showed me what He’s got…

I obtained my BA Drama honours degree at the University of Pretoria and found myself wanting more from the world of entertainment. After teaching drama, writing plays and performing in plays in my own production company I headed to London to see the world. It was there that I was alone, facing all life threw at me alone, and there in the mist of my quiet being, a voice called my name and I answered.
God had a different idea of where I should be heading. Drama is still a part of my life, being active in church dramas, doing freelance acting work, writing plays and also organizing high school drama tours all over the world.

God is using Rippel to reach so many people in need of Him and in need of a community radio station where God is visible, so God gave me the amazing opportunity to become a part of the Rippel family. I thank God every day for the amazing opportunity to do what I love, entertaining while keeping my knees on the ground.

I know my destiny is not heaven, it is to be Christ-like, clay in God’s hands, always available for Him to mold me in any situation and there where He wants me to be. That is worth more than a thousand Oscars…
